The Curious Kids' Museum was founded by educators and parents to provide an environment that invites curiosity, allows exploration, celebrates childhood, and inspires learning.

When they opened in 1989, their goal was to make learning fun. They have exceeded that goal by providing over 100 interactive, hand-on exhibits in their museum building on the Bluff in downtown St. Joseph and in a second location below the Bluff in the Discovery Zone near Silver Beach. They have educated and entertained over 1.5 million kids and adults over the years.
