Giving through the Foundation isn’t complicated, nor does it require great wealth. A gift of any size is a valuable contribution that will help make positive, lasting change throughout Berrien County. All donations are eligible for the Federal Income Tax charitable deduction as allowed by charitable tax law.

The BCF Scholar Urgent Needs Fund helps current Berrien Community Foundation scholars who are at a higher risk of dropping out of college when faced with unexpected, financial hardships. This could be a student who is having to choose between paying for their next semester or putting food on the table.
