For Good Produce Project

Eat Well, Give Well

Berrien Community Foundation, in partnership with the Nutrition Exchange of Southwest Michigan, is rolling out something fresh — and it’s good in every sense of the word.

The For Good Produce Project is a CSA-style (Community Supported Agriculture) fundraiser. When you purchase a season subscription, you will receive a biweekly box of the freshest produce southwest Michigan has to offer AND 70% of proceeds from your purchase will be used to support our local food pantries.

The Nutrition Exchange works to provide better health outcomes by being the bridge to get fresh, local produce from farmers into food-insecure homes through food pantries and senior meal programs. An estimated 85% of healthcare spending goes toward managing diet-based diseases, making access to fresh, nutritious food more important than ever.
