The main goals of this fund are to reach beyond traditional methods to effect change and improve the status quo of educational service.
The BCF Educational Endowment is used to fund the Golden Acorn Classroom Mini Grants.
These grants are available for all teachers in Berrien County for projects that are outside of the normal classroom budget.
Funded programs have included classroom gardens, waffles makers to see how heat affects food, a rubber band cannon, classroom libraries and many others.
