Berrien Community Foundation Going on Grant Information Tour

Berrien Community Foundation is making five stops throughout Berrien County to talk about the multiple grant opportunities offered through the foundation and new deadlines for many of its grants.

“We awarded $6.9 million in grants last year to local nonprofits doing good work in Berrien County,” said Berrien Community Foundation Program Director Susan Matheny. “We want to set up local nonprofits for success when they apply to our grant opportunities. By attending one of these informational meetings, they can know all the new deadlines for grants this year, learn about the grant process, make a plan for funding opportunities and ask questions.”

Nonprofits such as 501c3s, schools, religious organizations and government agencies are invited to attend one of the stops on the informational tour. The same information will be provided at each meeting, so agencies only need to attend one meeting. Registration is not needed, and there is no cost to attend.
