Berrien Community Foundation Offers Grant Writing Workshops To Refresh Grant Writing Skills

Berrien Community Foundation announces The Dos and Don’ts of Grant Writing, a grant writing workshop that will give attendees an in-depth look at what funders look for in requests, how to develop and communicate a case for giving, tools and knowledge needed to be grant ready, and much more. This is the second such workshop the Foundation has offered in 2023 and is from 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday, February 9.

The workshop will be led by BCF President Lisa Cripps-Downey and BCF Program Director Susan Matheny.

“We’re excited to offer this tool to help prepare nonprofits in requesting funding that allows them to carry out projects and programs to better our community,” said Cripps-Downey. “If you’re looking to brush up on your grant writing skills, this workshop is a must!”

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required due to limited seating. Sign up at www.berriencommunity.org/Grant-Writing-Workshop. The workshop will be held at Berrien Community Foundation, 2900 S. State Street, Ste. 2E, Saint Joseph, Michigan.
