Description
The HERBIE Medical Clinic is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in honor of the late Herb Atkinson, M.D. and is now under the medical directorship of Dr. Sherry O’Donnell with a team that includes doctors, nurse practitioners, dentists, optometrists, RNs, Physical Therapists and more. Comprised of an all volunteer staff, we are dedicated to providing free healthcare services to adults in our community who currently do not have any form of healthcare coverage.
To be eligible for the HERBIE Clinic you must be
- Over the age of 18
- Possess a valid picture ID
- Have no insurance including government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid
What's offered:
- Medications - Most medications are provided free of charge. Other medications often can be provided through manufacturer patient assistance programs.
- Health & Wellness Exams - Chronic conditions, current Illnesses, Female Wellness Exams (including PAP tests), Eye Care, Physical Therapy, Dental Care, Diabetic Counseling, Education, Insulin, & Supplies, Lifestyle & Meal Planning Strategies
- Lab Work & Tests - Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Coagulation Tests, Urine Tests, Basic Cholesterol Tests, Blood Sugar Tests and more
