If you have questions about Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and how to apply, check out Intelligent.com's article, Do I Qualify For Financial Aid?, for a look at the application process and who should apply.

Tips:

Answer every question!

Never leave a question blank! Even if your answer is to just briefly explain why you aren't answering.

Sign on the line!

Make sure you and your parent or guardian sign the signature page.

Watch your deadlines!

Submit your application BEFORE the due date! Applications must be received by the due date.

Ask for help early!

Scholarship applications are generally available at least 2 months before the due date. If you need to ask questions or request help in some way, you are far more likely to get help when the due date is 2 weeks from now instead of 2 hours from now.

Find a proofreader!

Don't let little mistakes ruin your submission. Find a friend or teacher to read your application and have them look for any typos, missed words or missing documents.

Read all about it!

If you are unsure of something, it is ok to call or email us to ask. But remember to read through the whole application first!
