Berrien Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the spring cycle of For Good Grants, which support programs and projects that strengthen communities across Berrien County. Applications are due March 1, 2026.
For Good Grants are awarded in amounts of up to $15,000 to support work done by nonprofits, schools, religious groups engaging in community work and government projects that benefit Berrien County residents. Funding priorities include the arts, children, education, environmental programs, health, seniors and community development.
Previous For Good Grant recipients include organizations providing cancer patient support services, youth sports facilities, Alzheimer’s and dementia programming, ADA-accessible infrastructure, public trails, nutrition education for youth, and local arts and cultural programming.
Berrien Community Foundation offers two rounds of For Good Grants each year. Applications for the fall cycle will be due August 1. Organizations may apply during both cycles but are eligible to receive only one For Good Grant per calendar year.
